Revealing the secrets of the best gift you could give to your loved ones

 Before revealing the secrets, let’s ponder upon the meaning of a gift - A gift can refer to any item or act of service that makes the other person happier or less sad.

Gifting has been a tradition for a long time and pampering our loved ones always feels great. Whether it’s their anniversary, birthday, special occasion, or even a mundane day, I have the secrets with which you can easily make people around you overjoyed with your presents. I have realized these secrets recently, and it works well all the time.

One of the most special gifts you could give someone – is your smile! YES! A smile is super infectious and can make any recipient elated. Anyone and everyone appreciates a smile, and everyone will appreciate the positive infectious vibe you generate when you smile. It is the most valuable thing to gift someone to lift their mood up. “Every time you smile at someone, it is an action of love, a gift to that person, a beautiful thing.” – Mother Teresa

The most important secret is indeed to understand, and not straight up judge someone. Our beliefs gain certainty when we understand. Being an understanding person can indeed be the best gift you could ever give to someone and guess what? It’s priceless!

Care about them – Yes, just care about the person you love, it would mean the world to them!

Hear them out – some days, all you need is someone to hear your thoughts, and what would be frustrating/delighting you, about your day, and much more. We all need an ear to lean on.

Support them always! - Support them no matter what (of course except the illegal ones) “Anything is possible when you have the right people to support you” a quote by Misty Copeland just ignites another emotion altogether, and that is the power of support.

Wish them well – being a well-wisher is extremely underrated in this fast-paced competitive world. After all, well-wishers are like beautiful street lamps. They cannot make our distance shorter but they can lighten our paths and make the journey easier.

And last but not least – know what they would like, think about it, and make them a beautiful card. If they aren’t a card person, then make them a digital card, so that whenever they feel low, they’d look at it and a smile would beam out of their lovely face. Or just send them their favorite food (brownie points if you’ve made it) which they’d happily savor.

Gifts are not meant to be expensive, yeah maybe you could go all out & splurge, but the most real and the most special gifts according to me include the ones mentioned above!
